The Mission Adaptation to Climate Change focuses on supporting EU regions, cities and local authorities in their efforts to build resilience against the impacts of climate change. The Mission’s objective is to accompany at least 150 European regions and communities towards climate resilience by 2030.
The Mission Forum
The annual Forum is a major governance element of the Mission, bringing together national, regional and local authorities, Friends of the Mission, European institutions, and research organisations.
The Forum is an opportunity to take stock, identify issues, provide direction, and define the path ahead. It will also showcase regional initiatives on adaptation to climate change and facilitate dialogue between its participants.
Several Regions4Climate demo regions and partners will be present: VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, VIA University College (Denmark), Region Sjælland (Denmark), Uusimaa region (Finland), and the Basque Country (Spain).
