Join Regions4Climate at the Baltic Regional Forum on Climate Adaptation!
Held over two half-days, the Baltic Regional Forum will have a special focus on climate adapation challenges and solutions in the Baltic region (covering Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Northern Germany, Northern Poland). The event will bring together regional and local leaders, Charter Signatories, policymakers, experts, and practitioners to share best practices in climate adaptation and resilience.
The Forum will take place in Viimsi, Estonia and on Monday 17th November, participants can join site visits in and around the Viimsi/Tallinn region, followed by a pre-forum networking reception.
On Tuesday 18th November, the programme will feature a panel discussion on climate risks in the Baltic regions and financial solutions, alongside interactive workshops designed to foster collaboration, share practical solutions, and co-create strategies tailored to the Baltic context. Key themes include:
- Coastal resilience and sea-level rise
- Solutions for heat management
- Water security and drought management
The forum will also highlight financing, multi-level governance, and collaboration as key drivers of climate action, showcasing the achievements of regional and local authorities and Mission Projects.
